Overjoyed Eats: Fresh Pea Pesto with Truffle Oil



 
I had a pound of fresh peas that were begging to be used with some home made pasta. My original intention was to lightly cook them and toss with pasta, but the idea of a fresh pea pesto (no basil, just peas) was too good to pass up. No shots of the pasta (my hands were a mess during the process, and by the time everything was done, I just wanted to dig in!), but you can see the flour mess in the shot of the finished pesto.
