I have to admit a bit of defeat here--this week was hard for me. Life was busy. I missed one of the days, but I'll do my best to make up for it another day.
Day 9: Someone You Love
I know this isn't a great technical shot, but it's definitely one of my favorite shots of my grandpa because I caught him laughing. I did get an actual portrait that looks nice, but this one made me happy.
Day 10: Childhood Memory
My mom would read The Hobbit to my brothers and me almost every night before bed. This particular copy was actually a birthday gift to me from my older brother in honor of that childhood tradition.
Day 11: Something Blue
Kinda went lazy on this one and took a shot of my purse while we were driving home.
Day 12: Sunset
And this is where I fail. Can you believe that this day I didn't get out of work in time to see the sunset? Sad, huh? I'll try my best to get one another day.
Day 13: Yourself with 13 Things
I tried to think of something that I had 13 of that had some sort of meaning to me, so here's me with 13 of my favorite (no, that's not a typo) college textbooks minus a few super favorites that I keep with me at work to reference.
Again...I'm still finding it hard to take pics of myself. :-/ Also, sitting on the ground does not make for a flattering portrait for me.
Day 14: Eyes
I used a photo of my grandpa earlier in the week, so I thought I'd ask my grandma if I could take a photo of her eyes. She gave me about ten seconds before she literally swatted the camera away. There was actual contact.
Day 15: Silhouette
Early morning hike = perfect tree silhouette opportunity.
I'm hoping to have better luck timing-wise this week. How is everyone else doing with the challenge?
